Privacy Policy
Pulli Dawn collects nothing. Everything you draw, save or photograph stays on your own device.
In short: Pulli Dawn has no account, no server, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind. It works fully offline, and no data about you or your kolams is ever sent anywhere.
What the app stores, and where
Pulli Dawn saves the kolams you trace, the photographs you attach to a Margazhi morning, your favourite patterns and your settings (surface, sound, haptics and reminder preferences) in the app's own storage on your device, using Apple's standard local storage. None of it is uploaded, synced or copied anywhere else.

Camera and photo library
The camera opens only when you choose to photograph the kolam drawn on your own doorstep for that morning's calendar entry, and the system asks your permission the first time. If you pick an existing photo instead, only the single photo you choose is copied into the app. Saving a traced kolam as an image back into your photo library happens only when you tap Save Image in the share sheet. In every case, the image stays on your device unless you personally choose to share it.
Notifications
If you turn on the dawn reminder in Settings, the app asks the system for notification permission and schedules a local reminder on your device. This does not involve any server, and no notification content ever leaves your device.
Sharing
When you use the share sheet to share a kolam image, the image goes only to the app, person or service you personally select at that moment. Pulli Dawn itself never sends it anywhere on your behalf.
Children's privacy
Pulli Dawn does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information from anyone at all.
Deleting your data
Open Settings inside the app and choose "Sweep everything away" to erase all saved kolams, photographs and calendar mornings at once. Deleting the app from your device removes everything Pulli Dawn has stored, since nothing exists outside it.
Changes to this policy
If this policy ever changes, the update will be posted on this page and reflected in the copy bundled with the app.
